Episode 9
We get a brief respite from the climax of the previous episode as Satoko reflects on what she has become after all these loops. Eua does ponder if Satoko is even human at this point. Interesting question she is throwing out…
After that moment of reflection, we are sucked back into the classroom where things left off. Satoko is clearly distressed, or is she?
Shion comes out positively steaming over the fact no action has been taken against Satoko’s uncle. Rena agrees.
Meanwhile in the Hojo household the situation gets rather fiery.
Luckily Satoko quickly dispatches the fire.
After that spot of firefighting Satoko, lays it out; we got to stick together as it is us versus the village. Talk about playing mind games with the siege mentality…
Shion and Keiichi escalate matters further by going into child welfare services and rallying the troops!
In the Hojo household it would seem everything is close to normal
It would seem however that Teppei is at the end of his tether with all the supposed backstabbing…
His frustrations lead Teppei to do the unexpected as he prostrates himself to the cops!
Coming home Teppei shows his new “ally” to Satoko. It would seem from a cursory inspection that no abuse is taking place. Will Satoko’s pack of lies unravel?
Satoko decides to take matters into her own hands and administers some medicine to help Ooshi see the “truth”
After a friendly farewell Ooshi leaves the Hojo household…
He decides to do a little light detective work questioning a few people about current events
Ooshi then adopts more unorthodox methods in his "investigation"…
What is the guy up to? This looks like a setup plus he is losing his marbles…
Episode 10
Looks like Ooshi is reading Satoko’s cliff notes as he decides to play games of his own…
Satoko and Teppei see the mess and are stunned by this latest pile of trash…
Teppei is on the brink of losing it and perhaps Satoko too…
The rally to “save” Satoko has grown considerably since we last saw Keiichi and his gang.
But Ooshi looks on knowing this rallying, whilst good natured, is ultimately wrong and will actually hurt Satoko…
The next day Ooshi speaks with Keiichi and agrees to escort child welfare services to the Hojo household…
Here they can uncover the truth about the Satoko abuse allegations…
With the truth revealed social services are in a pickle. But Ooshi will lead the way with noble intentions. He reminds Teppei of the Oyashiro curse. Way to go in fanning the paranoia flames…
Satoko continues to play games with the gang and does what can only be described as a remarkable act of betrayal…
But before the final rites can be said Teppei wakes up from what I can only imagine is a wicked hangover…
It is not enough however as Satoko will kill him executioner style!
But what it is this?! She missed!
It looks like there is some other force or spirit at work as Satoko loses control of her body…
Not long after it seems like the very fabric of reality is being brought apart!
This soon turns into the battle of the Satoko’s! Oh, what drama!
Satoko pleads her case that she truly loves Rika but has made some grave errors…
But the other half says she is the real Satoko and things come to a head!
With matters settled we get back to where we were. That is more of the bloody stuff! Poor Teppei getting the blunt end of the stick...
And just to make sure he is dead Satoko decides to whack his head a few times for good measure. Have the gods got no mercy?
