Well they did say there will be some aftershocks for quite sometime after that 9.0 quake and tsunami that happened a month ago mind you. Although I'm actually still woried over the nuclear plant that was dammaged, and I'm kind of wondering how things are going with the effort there.

As far as the nuclear plant problems go, they have yet to be fully resolved. The pictures are interesting and there are some articles too, if you are so inclined to read. They have a long road ahead and as they are determined to rise above it all, I know they will be alright, all in good time.

Well that's good to know, and I heard that they are going to send out something called a Cement Pourer that will be retrofitted as a water cannon to help out with the water efforts for the plant as well. A few of them are already over there with assisting on the plant, but I heard that they were going to send out a few more for the effots. The best thing about those trucks is that they have a crane-like arm that can act like a persision water cannon which is rather helpful due to the radiation contamination that pople have to worry about there.

Wow, Just wow I know its been almost one and a half month already since the disaster, some may have or may have not recovered yet. Still a goodluck to japan.

I've watched NGC and they've been able get some videos and some even never before seen from the news into detailed documentaries. To be honest I've never seen such a vivid image of tsunami's before sure there were those of 2005 but still most I've seen were after it hit the land but to see full details, just wow... just wow... It literally set shivers down my spine. Other interesting stuffs is the warning system by all means it was amazing to see how the citizens reacted...

Again another goodluck to those whomever are recovering...

Here are a couple of pictures I found that was taken of Fukushima recently:

With the time zones being different, Japan is 20 hours ahead compared to Los Angeles, California. It is already March 11th and many Japanese are commemorating the one year anniversary of the deadly earthquake/tsunami disaster that took many lives.
QUOTE Despite the horror of the earthquake and tsunami, which left the Japanese “deeply shocked,” Archbishop Ikenaga said he was able to “recognize how wonderful it is for people to support each other” by the generous donations and support of volunteers all over the world.
Koreans showed their support by holding up signs in front of news cameras that said, “We love Japan. Japan will overcome the hardship!”
The archbishop recalled how Japan received donations from “all over the world,” nuclear specialists from overseas offered “generous support,” and locals from “all over Japan” volunteered in the clean up.
“Facing unreasonable and cruel realities, we are largely impressed and encouraged by numerous people at home and abroad who are making every effort to help the affected persons,” Archbishop Ikenaga said.

I too, will remember all who were lost that day but I will also give thanks to those who despite having lost everything, remained steadfast, hopeful, and are today, not only committed to rebuilding their lives and their homes, but to rebuilding their communities with neighbor and help from abroad.

Well...I don't really want to think about it.... When I remembered yesterday that one full year already passed since the tragedy, I could help but depress. This is, for me, by far the most shocking tragedy accident caused by mother nature in the history. I watched a video about idols and other japanese singer holding a charity event last year and it was very sad =/

I cannot say something better than this ! May the Japanese continues to inspire us like they always do with their anime/manga/drama/songs/... Japan, you're the best !
