That said, I'm looking forward to RAINBOW, Eden of the East and Phantom, and will try Shangri-La, FMA and Pandora Hearts. I am also surprised to see Spice&Wolf listed as OVA.

I seen a Preview, let me see if I can find it, 'Eden of the East' itis called. It kinda caught me off-guard, as it is not my normal type. However it looked unique, maybe it was b/c of the way it starts

I suggest you take a look at that one since you mentioned you like Ghost*

Thus far ones that peaked my interest:

Eden of the East
Hatsukoi Gentei (if this is too ecchi and not enough amusing, will be dropping if too stupid...)
K-ON (looks amusing?)
Asura Cryin' (not sure anymore, looks COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from what the original print out made of it...)
Natsu no Arashi (too typical... /sigh)

It could either be really really good, or something ridiculous about a weird mason conspiracy or what-not. And, bottom line, it's from IG, so it can't be bad. They ARE playing a dangerous game by setting it in present-day/near-future US though, especially considering how politically loaded IG shows tend to be... This one will probably be completely censored and prohibited in the US

EDIT: Actually, Guin Saga looks friggin' epic. The main character twins look whiny and boring, but the epic battles, the main character trying to find out who he is - reminds me of Utawarerumono, and I loved that game. Should check it out.
 
I remember seeing a review about it, it's some sort of conspiracy where the guy has absolutely no memory even though his bank account has a ridiculous large amount of money in it and the only cluses are the gun he has and the cell phone.
 
Must-watch for me:

FMAv2 - Obviously, since I am curious on how will they succeed on adapting manga.

Sengoku Basara - because i am fan of the game.

07-Ghost - one of my favorite manga turned anime. Hell yes. Goo story and I like OP/ED songs already. trailer looks promising too.

DOGS/Bullets&Carnage - must watch for anyone.


Watch-and-decide for me:

Guin Saga - looks interesting, but meh at the same time.

Phantom - depends on quality. I like the premise. If its not silly, then I will watch it.


Others on that photo list - meh.

If you watch the trailer he jokes around about being a terrorist, im already hooked, some indepth stuff fpr supposedly only taking in place in 11 days... 24 hours anyone?

Actually, the trailer for the Phantom looks kind of silly. About as silly as that maid with a gun >___<

On the other hand, Pandora Hearts has great character designs, an evil aura and lots of violence - might as well be my "guilty pleasure" =)

Asura Cryin' looks OK, although I'm afraid it's gonna turn out to be the usual school setting with superpowers crap. The trailer looked good though, and I like the song.
 
What I have already on my PLAN-to-WATCH list:

FMA 2 - It's been ages since I've seen the other version, so even if some of the material is the same, it won't bother me

K-ON - KyoAni. that's the only reason. Plus I like shows about girlfriends in highschool... so nostalgic

Eden of the East - Character designer is the mangaka who did Honey and Clover, that alone spiked my interest.... and the trailer made it look very promising. Definitely a show I'm looking forward to.

Sengoku Basara - The main reason I'm watching it is because of the cast lol I'll watch anything with Nakai Kazuya in it (LOVE his voice)

Pandora Hearts - Lots of hype surrounding this one... I hope it lives up to it

Valkyria Chronicles - I'm actually more interested in playing the game, but until then the anime should keep me amused lol

Cross Game - I started watching Touch (80s baseball/romance/drama anime) not too long ago, and really love it... I hope that this will be just as "Touch-"ing

Wow I just realized how much I'll be watching... I'll probably check out at least the first episode of the others as well...

I tend to enjoy their animes. It's the same with BONES and SHAFT. I'll check out anything they make because I've liked other shows they've made in the past. Studio bias

Anyway whats 'decent' by your standards will probably deviate from mine, since everyone has different taste.
 
ATM only one really sparks my interest being 'Eden of the East', not from the amazing shivers I get from the trailers, but also b/c its the same artist as Honey and Clover (Which happens ot be my favorite anime of all time). I cannot wait at all for the first episode.

Spring better not turn out like Winter for me, and only end up watching 2-3, of which some of the fansub groups just stop subbing :'(

Now for the Spring Breakdown.

Definitely Watching and looking forward to:

Fullmetal Alchemist 2 (obviously)
Eden of the East
Hayate no Gotoku 2
Natsu no Arashi (I have to, it's by Akiyuki Shinbo)
Valkyria Chronicles (maybe I can play the game and watch the show at the same pace, assuming they are even the same story, lol)

These I will most likely watch, but just don't know enough about them to put them on the above list:

Sengoku Basara
Phantom
Cross Game (figured I may give this a try. sports isn't usually a genre I go for, but i heard this is sports/romance with a little more focus on the latter)

Queen's Blade (If this doesn't scream guilty pleasure for me then I don't know what does)
Hatsukoi Gentei
Polyphonica 2 (I forced my way through the first so I'll give this a try and hope for the best)

I'll probably try the first few eps of a few others. It's what I always end up doing. I always try to watch too many series, then I'll drop multiple ones 3-6 eps in.
